IT IS GOD who has made the night for you, so that you might rest therein, and the day, to make [you] see. Behold, God is indeed limitless in His bounty unto man - but most men are ungrateful. 61 Such is God, your Lord, the Creator of all things. There is no god but He. How then are you being turned away [from Him]? 62 Only they are turned away thus who deny the signs of God. 63 It is God who made for you the earth a fixed place and heaven for an edifice; And He shaped you, and shaped you well, and provided you with the good things. That then is God, your Lord, so blessed be God, the Lord of all Being. 64 He is the Living: there is no god but He so call upon Him, making religion pure for Him. All praise unto Allah, the Lord of the worlds! 65 ۞ Say: "I am forbidden to worship those you call apart from God, since clear signs have come to me from my Lord, and I am commanded to submit to the Lord of all the worlds." 66 It is He who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot; then He brings you out as a child; then [He develops you] that you reach your [time of] maturity, then [further] that you become elders. And among you is he who is taken in death before [that], so that you reach a specified term; and perhaps you will use reason. 67 He it is Who gives life and causes death. Whenever He decrees a thing, He only commands to it “Be”, and it is. 68
