We did deliver aforetime the Children of Israel from humiliating Punishment, 30 From Firaun; he was indeed proud, among the transgressors. 31 and indeed, We chose them knowingly above all other people, 32 And granted them Signs in which there was a manifest trial 33 Most surely these do say: 34 "There is not but our first death, and we will not be resurrected. 35 So then, bring forth our forefathers [as witnesses,] if what you claim is true!" 36 Are they, then, better than the people of Tubba and those before them, whom We destroyed because they were truly lost in [the same] sin? 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is in-between the twain sporting. 38 We did not create them except in truth, but most of them do not know. 39 Assuredly the Day of Decision is the term for all of them, 40 On that Day no cousin shall help his cousin and they shall not be helped 41 Save those on whom Allah will have mercy. Verily He! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 42
