The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 The food of sinners. 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 like water. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 Then pour the punishment of boiling water over his head, 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other, 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That is the supreme triumph. 57 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue, that haply they may remember. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
