Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 as the boiling of the hot water. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 amidst gardens and fountains, 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 They shall not taste therein of death, save the first death, And He shall guard them against the chastisement of Hell -- 56 a bounty from thy Lord; that is the mighty triumph. 57 Verily, We have made this (Qur'an) easy, in thy tongue, in order that they may give heed. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
