Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
(As for) those who disbelieve and turn away from Allah's way, He shall render their works ineffective. 1 As for the believers who do good works and believe in what is sent down to Muhammad which is the truth from their Lord He will acquit them of their sins and repair their condition. 2 This is because the disbelievers followed falsehood and the believers followed the Truth which is from their Lord; this is how Allah illustrates the examples of people to them. 3 Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost. 4 Soon will He guide them and improve their condition, 5 And admit them to the Garden which He has announced for them. 6 O you who believe! if you help (the cause of) Allah, He will help you and make firm your feet. 7 But the unbelievers shall be the destroyed losers. He will bring their deeds to nothing. 8 That is because they hate the Revelation of Allah; so He has made their deeds fruitless. 9 ۞ Have they not journeyed in the land and seen the fate of those before them? Destroyed they were utterly by God; and a similar (fate) awaits the unbelievers. 10 That is because God is the Protector of the believers, and that the unbelievers have no protector. 11
