Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 When we are dead and turned to dust, this returning (to life) is most far-fetched." 3 We know that which the earth takes of them (their dead bodies), and with Us is a Book preserved (i.e. the Book of Decrees). 4 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them - how We have built it and made it beautiful and free of all faults? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 Cried lies before them the people of Noah and the men of Er-Rass, and Thamood, 12 And (the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 the dwellers of the Thicket and the nation of Tubba', all belied their Messengers, therefore My threat was realized. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
