Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By oath of those which carry away while dispersing. 1 And those who bear the load (of rain), 2 and those that speed along with gentle ease, 3 then by the distributors (angels), ordered; 4 Verily, that which you are promised (i.e. Resurrection in the Hereafter and receiving the reward or punishment of good or bad deeds, etc.) is surely true. 5 the Judgement will surely come to pass -- 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 May the conjecturers perish, 10 who are heedless in the immersion. 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 On that Day they shall be tried at the Fire, 13 (And it will be said unto them): Taste your torment (which ye inflicted). This is what ye sought to hasten. 14 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and fountains. 15 Taking joy in the things which their Lord gives them, because, before then, they lived a good life. 16 They used to sleep but little in the night. 17 and in the mornings they would ask for forgiveness; 18 and [would assign] in all that they possessed a due share unto such as might ask [for help] and such as might suffer privation. 19 There are signs in the earth for those who are firm in their faith, 20 And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see? 21 And in the heaven lies your sustenance, and the promise you are given. 22 By the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this is certainly true even as you speak. 23
