And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them (Quraish pagans) you are not to be blamed (as you have conveyed Allah's Message). 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
