AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
