Al-Najm 3 of 3
Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
