Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 and covered them with torment. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So prostrate yourselves before God and worship him. ۩ 62
