Seest thou one who turns back, 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
