Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
