۞ Those who have no desire to meet Us have said, "Would that the angels had been sent to us or that we could see our Lord." They are really filled with pride and have committed the greatest and worst kind of rebellion and hostility. 21 The day they see the angels - no good tidings will there be that day for the criminals, and [the angels] will say, "Prevented and inaccessible." 22 We shall turn to their deeds and scatter them like particles of dust. 23 The inhabitants of Paradise that day, better shall be their lodging, fairer their resting-place. 24 And on the Day whereon the heaven shall be rent asunder from the clouds and the angels shall be sent down with a great descending. 25 The kingdom on that day shall rightly belong to the Beneficent Allah, and a hard day shall it be for the unbelievers. 26 And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, "Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way. 27 Ah! woe unto me! Would that I had never taken such a one for a friend! 28 He led me away from the true guidance after it had come to us. Satan is a traitor to people." 29 The Messenger says: 'O my Lord, my people have taken this Koran while deserting it' 30 And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the sinners and sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and a Helper. 31 And those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?" Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly. 32 They do not bring to you any parable but that which We bring to you is the truth and better in explanation. 33 Those who will be pushed faces forward into Hell will be in a worse position, farther away from the path. 34
