Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
