The warnings came also to Pharaoh's folk. 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 In fact, the Hour of Doom is the time for them to suffer. The suffering of this hour is the most calamitous and the most bitter (of all suffering). 46 Lo! the guilty are in error and madness. 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 And Our command is only a fleeting one – like the batting of an eyelid. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
