And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent). 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
