Everyone upon the earth will perish, 26 Only the Supreme Essence of your Glorious and Gracious Lord will remain forever. 27 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 28 On Him depends all creatures in the heavens and on earth; [and] every day He manifests Himself in yet another [wondrous] way. 29 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 30 We shall attend to you, O you two classes (jinns and men)! 31 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 32 O company of jinn and men, if you have the power to go beyond the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go beyond them! Yet you will be unable to go beyond them for that requires infinite power. 33 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 34 Against you shall be loosed a flame of fire, and molten brass; and you shall not be helped. 35 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 36 When the sky is rent asunder, and it becomes red like ointment: 37 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 38 Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn. 39 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 40 The sinners shall be known by their mark, and they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 Which of the powers of your Lord, will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 42 This is the Hell which the guilty called a lie. 43 Going round between it and boiling water fierce. 44 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? 45
