The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Will be the food of the Sinful,- 44 Like dregs of oil; it shall boil in (their) bellies, 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water, 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 The pious ones will be in a secure place 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 Thus (shall it be), and We will wed them with Houris pure, beautiful ones. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment. 57 We have now made it easy on your tongue, in order that they remember. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
