▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
