▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
