۞ Hast thou not seen those who take for friends a folk with whom Allah is wroth? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear a false oath knowingly. 14 Allah hath gotten ready for them a torment grievous; verily vile is that which they have been working. 15 They make a shelter of their oaths and turn (men) from the way of Allah; so theirs will be a shameful doom. 16 Neither their wealth nor their children shall help them a thing against Allah. They are the inhabitants of the Fire, and there they shall live for ever. 17 On the day that Allah will raise them up all, then they will swear to Him as they swear to you, and they think that they have something; now surely they are the liars. 18 The devil hath engrossed them and so hath caused them to forget remembrance of Allah. They are the devil's party. Lo! is it not the devil's party who will be the losers? 19 Those who oppose Allah and His Messenger shall be among the humiliated. 20 God has decreed, "I and My Messenger shall certainly triumph." God is All-powerful and Majestic. 21 You will not find those who believe in God and the Day of Resurrection, loving those who oppose God and His Prophet, even though they be their fathers, sons, or brothers or their kin. God has inscribed on their hearts belief, and has succoured them with His own grace, and will admit them to gardens with rivers flowing by, where they will abide for ever, God accepting them, and they, happy in the pleasure of God. They are verily the army of God. Will not the army of God be victorious? 22
