Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I swear by all that you can see, 38 and by what you do not see, 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he (Muhammad SAW) had forged a false saying concerning Us (Allah), 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
