But they did not listen to me," Noah said, "and followed him whose wealth and children only added to his ruin. 21 and have devised a mighty device 22 And said: 'Do not abandon your gods, and do not abandon Wadda or Suwa', or Yaghuth, Ya'uq or Nasr.' 23 And they have led many astray. Increase Thou not the evildoers save in error!' 24 Because of their sins they were drowned, then were made to enter the Fire, and they found none to help them instead of Allah. 25 And Noah said: My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers in the land. 26 "For, if Thou dost leave (any of) them, they will but mislead Thy devotees, and they will breed none but wicked ungrateful ones. 27 My Lord! Forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house believing, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin. 28
