Nay, and by the moon, 32 and the night when it retreats 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 Warn the men. 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 About the guilty: 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 As they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
