NAY, but consider the moon! 32 And the night when it departs, 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 who will be in Paradise 40 About the guilty: 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 No indeed; each one of them desires that open letters be sent to each of them. 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
