Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 and place it in a secure place 21 For a known term? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
