Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 and place it in a secure place 21 until an appointed time? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
