Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 separating one from another, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 To clear or to warn. 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 until an appointed time? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 the living and the dead? 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
