The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those who drag forth to destruction, 1 By those who gently draw out (the souls of the blessed); 2 by the swimmers (angels) swimming gently 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 And who plan the implementation. 5 On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation], 6 and the second blast follows it, 7 Hearts on that day shall palpitate, 8 and their eyes shall be humbled. 9 (The disbelievers) say, "Shall we be brought back to life again 10 even after we have been reduced to bones, hollow and rotten?” 11 They say: Then that would be a vain proceeding. 12 It will be only one scaring shout, 13 and they will be upon the surface of the earth (alive). 14 Have you heard the story of Moses? 15 Lo! His Sustainer called out to him in the twice-hallowed valley: 16 That “Go to Firaun he has rebelled.” 17 “Tell him ‘Do you have the inclination to become pure?’ 18 I shall guide you to your Lord so that you may perhaps have fear of Him". 19 Then [Musa (Moses)] showed him the great sign (miracles). 20 but he cried lies, and rebelled, 21 Then he turned away in a hurry, 22 Then he gathered (men) and called out. 23 Then he said: I am your lord, the most high. 24 but God seized him and meted out to him the chastisement of both the next world and the present: 25 surely there is in this a lesson for the God-fearing. 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
