What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
