The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
When the sun is covered, 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 and when the mountains are made to vanish, 3 And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together, 5 When the oceans surge and swell, 6 when the souls are coupled (to their body), 7 And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. 8 for what offence was she killed? 9 And when the Records of Account are laid bare. 10 When the world on High is unveiled; 11 and when the blazing fire [of hell] is kindled bright, 12 And when Paradise shall be brought near, 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves, 16 The closing night, 17 And by oath of the morning when it takes birth. 18 behold, this [divine writ] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 19 of power, given a rank by the Owner of the Throne 20 Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy. 21 And your companion is not gone mad. 22 He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form 23 And he is of the unseen not a tenacious concealer. 24 Nor is this [message] the word of any satanic force accursed. 25 Where then will you go? 26 This is a reminder for all the peoples of the world, 27 For him among you who pleases to go straight. 28 And ye shall not will unless it be that Allah, the Lord of the worlds, willeth. 29
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
