The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sunlight is rolled up. 1 And when the stars shall fall; 2 and when the mountains are made to vanish, 3 When the she-camels, ten months with young, are left untended; 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 And when the seas are set afire. 6 when the souls shall be rejoined (with their bodies), 7 And when the girl buried alive shall be asked: 8 such as, "For what crime were they murdered?" 9 when the scrolls shall be unrolled, 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped off and taken away from its place; 11 when Hell is set ablaze, 12 and Paradise is brought near, 13 (Then) every soul will know what it had prepared (for itself). 14 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, 15 Go straight, or hide; 16 And the Night as it dissipates; 17 And by the dawn when it breathes 18 That this is indeed the word of an honoured Messenger, 19 of power, given a rank by the Owner of the Throne 20 [the word] of one to be heeded, and worthy of trust! 21 Your companion is not mad. 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 He is not avid of the Unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of a satan accursed. 25 When whither go ye? 26 This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds 27 For him among you who pleases to go straight. 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
