Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 noble scribes, 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
