Al-Infitaar

Shattering (Al-Infitaar)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 Noble and recording; 11 Who know what you do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
