Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 noble recorders, 11 They know whatever you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
