Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 watching over you 11 who know all that you do: 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
