▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
Those who fear their Lord will have two gardens 46 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 49 In [each of] these two [gardens] two springs will flow. 50 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 Reclining there on carpets lined with brocade, fruits of the garden hanging low within reach. 54 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 55 Therein are maidens who restrain their glances, whom neither human nor jinn have touched before. 56 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 57 As if they were rubies and coral. 58 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens 62 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain beli? 63 Dark green (in colour). 64 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 65 In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance: 66 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 67 Wherein is fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate. 68 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 69 In these [gardens] will be [all] things most excellent and beautiful. 70 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 71 There shall be maidens sheltered in tents. 72 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 73 There hath deflowered them neither man nor jinn. 74 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78
