Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Honorable recorders, 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
