Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Generous and recording, 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
