Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 noble recorders, 11 They know what you do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 to burn therein. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
