The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by the mansions of the stars, 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 When they sat by it, 6 And to that which they did to the believers were witnesses. 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 Verily He! He it is who beginneth and repeateth it. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 God encompasses them from all sides. 20 This is indeed the glorious Qur'an 21 On a guarded tablet. 22
