The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heavens with constellations, 1 by the promised day, 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 when they were seated around it 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 whom they hated for no other reason than that they believed in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy, 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 Verily, He it is Who begins (punishment) and repeats (punishment in the Hereafter) (or originates the creation of everything, and then repeats it on the Day of Resurrection). 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamud? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
