Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: The Beneficent hath taken unto Himself a son. 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 And it is not worthy of the Beneficent Allah that He should take (to Himself) a son. 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 each one of them shall come to Him one by one on the Day of Judgement. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 (Muhammad), We have given you the Book (the Quran) in your own language so that you could easily give the glad news to the pious ones and warn the quarrelsome ones. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
