The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 Cursed be the makers of the pit, 4 by a burning fire 5 When they sat by it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 and the Most Effective in His decision. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh, and of [the tribe of] Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
