The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those (angels) that pluck out the soul from depths, 1 by the angels who gently release the souls of the believers, 2 And who glide with ease. 3 and yet overtake [one another] with swift overtaking: 4 And then they manage the affair, 5 On the day when the first trump resoundeth. 6 And the second followeth it, 7 Hearts on that Day will be throbbing; 8 and their eyes shall be downcast with dread. 9 They shall say, 'What, are we being restored as we were before? 10 even though we may have become [a heap of] crumbling bones?" 11 They say: "Then this returning will be a dead loss." 12 But verily, it will be but a single (Compelling) Cry, 13 and behold! They will all come out in the open. 14 Has Moses' story reached you? 15 How his Lord called him in the holy vale of Tuwa, 16 "Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 17 And say to him, "Would you like to reform yourself? 18 Do you want me to guide you to your Lord, so that you should fear Him?'" 19 Then Moses (went to Pharaoh and) showed him the Great Sign; 20 but the Pharaoh rejected it and disobeyed (Moses). 21 and then he turned back to have recourse to his craftiness, 22 Then he gathered his people and cried aloud, 23 Then he said: I am your lord, the most high. 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the hereafter and the former life. 25 Surely there is a great lesson in it for whoever would fear (Allah). 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
