The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
