The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
