Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

By the morning hours 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
