▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But such as fears the Station of his Lord, for them shall be two gardens -- 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 Having numerous branches. 48 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 49 In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); 50 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 51 In both of them, there will be two kinds of every fruit. 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 (They shall) recline on couches lined with brocade, and the fruits of the Gardens will be near at hand. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 In them shall be those who restrained their eyes; before them neither man nor jinni shall have touched them. 56 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Both inclining to blackness. 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance: 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 Therein will be fruits and dates and pomegranates. 68 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 69 In them good and comely maidens -- 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions - 72 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 73 Untouched by any man or jinn, before them. 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 75 [They will live in such a paradise] reclining upon green cushions and the finest carpets. 76 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Glory. 78
